It was a very muddy and fun day at the U.S. Open with my Dad and brother. We all smell like cattle. Best Father’s Day Ever.
It's Official...
I’m not really sure what it would be in this instance, but the official part is I’m following the US Open on Twitter. I’m not sure how I feel about this yet.
I wish I had that yellow dress for Lindsey’s wedding.

GPOYW- Generation T Book Signing Model Edition. That’s right, Megan Nicolay called me up to be a demonstration model during her book reading this evening.
Why are people always putting me in clothes and then cutting them off?

I’m going! Anyone else going to be there?
Whoa! This is awesome. Why can’t all the subways look like this? Amy, I totally agree with you, all historic NYC things fascinate me too.
I’m fascinated by the abandoned City Hall subway stop (in addition to all things historic in NYC). I really want to stay on the 6 train at Brooklyn Bridge and ride the loop when the train does its little turnaround to go back uptown.
The station was in service from 1904-1945. It was closed down because it would have been too difficult to extend the platform around the sharp curve since the station was essentially one big loop. Read and see more pictures here.

Thank you Marco for the great shots.
These works by Vancouver photographer Dina Goldstein place Fairy Tale characters in modern day scenarios. In all of the images the Princess is placed in an environment that articulates her conflict. The ‘…happily ever after’ is replaced with a realistic outcome and addresses current issues.
“I began to imagine Disney’s perfect Princesses juxtaposed with real issues that were affecting women around me, such as illness, addiction and self-image issues.”

Billy Mays here…really, he was HERE!, at the Big Apple BBQ, removing stains like a pro.
Oh Billy, meeting you made my month and possibly my year.
Ryan, you should be totally jealous.

The Case for Working With Your Hands →
Many of us do work that feels more surreal than real. Working in an office, you often find it difficult to see any tangible result from your efforts. What exactly have you accomplished at the end of any given day?
(thanks, Avi Flax)
