I really get into wrapping presents.  I love using simple kraft paper and then spicing it up with all kinds of crafty decorations.

Wienermobile Sighting!

There are only seven Wienermobiles in existence, and we saw one! It was huge.

This is the second time Marco has seen one. The first time he was on the phone with me while stuck in traffic next to it.

Dinner Date

Went on a date tonight with my amazing husband. A little light live jazz, delicious food in a quirky setting, red wine, coffee, and fun table drawings.  A perfect Arment evening.

In response to Syd’s mascara post…I am a mascara freak too and I love Buxom. In fact, it made such an impact on me, I wrote about it when I first bought it.  Lately, I’ve been using the pink and green Maybelline standby because my mom gave me some when I was in Atlanta.  It’s still good, but that Buxom brush has me spoiled.  I swear it makes it look like I am wearing false eyelashes.  I wonder if it’s like shampoo and different hair types prefer different mascara?

I love this mascara.  But there is something about it that is a little odd and annoying. When I’m baking and I open the oven to peek inside, my eye lashes melt together and then I panic and can’t see.  Yeah, it is a bit of a problem, but I keep using it. Beauty is pain.

I got this letter today. I’ve been voted out of church because I haven’t attended in 8 years. Merry Christmas to all!

The first Christmas Advent chocolate.

Every year, my mom still gets us chocolate Advent calendars.  She always makes sure that she picks out the perfect ones. The teal one is mine, because it is my current favorite color.  Thank you Mom!
