I’ve been scanning all of my 1920s French postcards to share with you for Valentine’s Day. I’ll be posting them for the rest of the week.

Weather AHH!

It pretty much looks exactly the same as it did the last time it snowed.

Looking for...

I’ve been thinking about a photographer I like and I can only remember what his photos look like, but not his name.  I can describe a few of his photographs:

One is a man digging a hole in the headlights of his car in the middle of the woods and he is burying stacks of suitcases.

Another is a woman laying on a crappy mattress in the backyard of a run down house

Another is a girl holding a suitcase who just got out of a car and she left the car door open and she is standing in the middle of the street looking up at a house.

This photographer does amazing things with light creating an eerie unknown quality to his photographs.  They all feel very mysterious.

Can you help?

UPDATE: Found it , Thank you Adam!  The Photographer I’m thinking of is Gregory Crewdson.

I’ve been teaching myself Photoshop by seeing a picture style I like and trying to replicate it.  It’s been a great way to force myself to use tools that I haven’t needed to use in the past for basic photo editing.  But I’m really concerned about it being cheesy.  After staring at the same picture for a while I lose that perspective and I just start disliking everything.  I just wanted to get some feedback. So is it cheesy?

I spent the evening organizing photos and came across this one from our honeymoon.  I really like it.

Bridge CS4 Question?

I’ve looked everywhere, how do I toggle between an edited photo and the original RAW in Bridge CS4?

When I right-click and hit previous conversion it resets the preview to RAW, but then I can’t get my edit back. I just want to toggle quickly with a shortcut between one version and the original. Is this even possible?  Please help internet.

My camera and I need to go on a road trip.  We need to look at something new.
