We bought green tomatoes at the farmer’s market this weekend.  So tonight I made fried green tomatoes for the first time.  In conclusion, I will be making these every chance I get.

It was crowded, shady, and creepy, especially in the carnival section. But we got great hot dogs and saw excellent fireworks.

Friday night fireworks at Coney Island.  Best firework show I’ve ever seen. Non-stop amazing.

I love Robert Mcginnis.  I wish there were more books about him and a collection of his work.  I would love to have a print of this one hanging in our bedroom.
